Jack H. Omohundro Sr. is one of the charter members of the TJA. He was president from 1990 to 1992 and presided over the 1992 San Antonio round-up.

Born in Atlanta,GA in 1921 and reared in Crowley, LA, Jack attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana before enlisting in the US Army Air Corps, in July of 1940. In 1943, he few a combat tour of 25 missions over Europe as a commander of a B-17 bomber with the 8th Air Force and returned to the US in 1944.
  

Jack was hired by Pan American Airways in May of 1945 as a pilot and began flying for them on the Boeing 314 flying boats as a 4th officer. He retired as a captain of Boeing 747s in Feb 1979. Along the way, he raised four sons: Jack Jr., Richard, Robert, and John.

Retired and living in hometown Crowley, he is married to Jane T. Omohundro his childhood sweetheart.  Jack enjoys golf, lawn work and is famous (??) for his "letters to the editor".  Jane, a former high school English teacher, has a talent for sewing and is a spectacular cook. They both enjoy people, travelling and doting on their grandchildren.
