On Saturday, June 24, TJA member Matthew Kerns accepted the Spur Award in Short Nonfiction for his article "Texas Jack Takes an Encore" in the April 2022 edition of Wild West Magazine.
The article and author were previously awarded the Western Heritage (Wrangler) Award in April.
