Next year, we’re heading to Richmond, Virginia, from June 24–27, 2026, and this is shaping up to be one of our best gatherings yet. If you’ve been to a Roundup before, you know it’s all about good company, shared history, and discovering new corners of Texas Jack’s world. If this will be your first one — welcome! You picked a great year to jump in.

Here’s what we’ve got planned:

Excursions & Activities

• Colonial WilliamsburgWalk straight into the 1700s and explore one of the most immersive historical sites in the country.

• Hollywood CemeteryWe’ll visit the resting place of several Omohundro family members and pay our respects at the grave of Texas Jack’s Civil War commander, General J.E.B. Stuart.

• Other Richmond-area historic and cultural spotsWe’re lining up additional outings that showcase the deep history of the region — details to come in The Scout.

Between excursions, meals, and downtime at the hotel, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet fellow TJA members, swap stories, and enjoy a whole lot of Texas Jack fellowship.

A Few Notes

• More details (including schedule, meal info, and bus plans) will appear in upcoming issues of The Scout.

• Please make your travel and hotel arrangements early — Richmond is a popular spot in June.

• Bus transportation will be provided for select excursions; we’ll share specifics soon.
