August 31st is the 150th Anniversary of the marriage of Texas Jack Omohundro and "The Peerless" Giuseppina Morlacchi. I colorized, sharpened, and expanded the image of them to make a desktop background, and thought I'd share.
Here is the image, if anyone would like to download it.
The left and right sides of the image are created in Photoshop and are not part of the original image.

This comes from the Lincoln County Historical Museum in North Platte, Nebraska. It is part of a collection of Fort McPherson photos donated to the museum by the descendants of a doctor that served at the fort. Texas Jack is mounted on the right side of the image.
