Co-directors Larry Tyree and Candice McKinney met on March 10, 2021, to discuss whether or not to hold the Chicago Roundup in 2021 amid circumstances surrounding the current Covid-19 pandemic and related implications. After discussing the data that had been researched (see p. 33), their recommendation was to propose to the Board of Directors of the Texas Jack Association that the Roundup be delayed until 2022.
At their March 13 meeting, the Board unanimously agreed that postponing the Roundup was the prudent thing to do. In the discussions that followed, it was decided that we have a brand new event instead! So, on Saturday, June 19, 2021 (the day that we normally would have had the Roundup business meeting), the Board decided that we have should have a Texas Jack Party on ZOOM!
